I’ve always seen you a certain way.
When I first saw you in a poster, I was curious if you looked as good in person. Of course, you were.
Years on and I saw a photo of you again and I knew I was in trouble.
I always enjoyed talking with you, and when we finally come together I’m always amazed that you are with me.
When we had Sloan, the way I see you never changed from the first time I knew you. You’re still that beautiful, witty, kind-hearted person you always were.
Which probably explains why I take it for granted that you are now the mother of our wonderful kid. For that I apologize. You are a wonderful mother. In fact, it’s amazing to see you become that same person you’ve always been while taking on an enormous task of raising a child. I acknowledge that.
And I love you all the more for it. I really do.
Happy mother’s day!
